The variable of sanctions in recent years has caused the homogeneity and alignment of Iran's foreign economic interactions with its foreign policy interactions to be raised more than ever before. On the other hand, considering the emphasis of Clause 12 of the general policies of the resistance economy based on increasing the power of resistance and reducing the vulnerability of the country's economy through: * developing strategic links and expanding cooperation and partnership with regional and global countries, especially neighbors; * using diplomacy in line with supporting economic goals; * utilizing the capacities of international and regional organizations (Text of the notified general policies of the resistance economy, 2013), the necessity of re-examining and organizing economic diplomacy is felt more than ever.
