In the present research, an attempt has been made to use the writings and statements of His Eminence in the direction of "identifying the criteria for the management and command pattern, in accordance with the expectations of the Supreme Leader (May his shadow be prolonged)" during the years 1989 to 2014, so that this important matter can be considered as a roadmap for the development and excellence of the managers and commanders of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore, the important issue and the main concern of this research is the clarification of the criteria for the management and command pattern based on the competencies of the commanders and managers of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, from the perspective of His Eminence Imam Khamenei (May his shadow be prolonged), so that based on it, the knowledge, skills, characteristics, and personality competencies required by commanders and managers can be identified and specified in scientific ways arising from divine thoughts, and the demands of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in the form of "entrusting tasks to righteous, trustworthy, and devoted people to the system, the fate, and the security of the people" and to the maximum efficiency 29 of the armed forces is achieved by selecting faithful and brave managers and commanders, promoting sincere and self-sacrificing forces, and also manifesting these aforementioned forces as a symbol of religion, authority, and intelligence.
