چکیده:
Garmsar County, due to its specific geographical location, topographic conditions, and atmospheric systems affecting the region, has acquired special bioclimatic conditions. Seasonal and daily temperature changes have created numerous problems for tourism activities and generally for its residents. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate bioclimatic conditions, determine climatic comfort periods during different days and months of the year, and prepare a tourism calendar. In this regard, using synoptic meteorological data, the bioclimatic status of the region was investigated, and the following results were obtained: The best bioclimatic conditions in the region in terms of Terjong comfort indices for being in open spaces during the daytime in the months of Farvardin and Mehr are very favorable and pleasant; in the nighttime condition, the months of Khordad, Tir, and Mordad are determined to have a pleasant feeling and bioclimatic comfort. Based on the Mahani index, the daily thermal status in six months of the year (from Aban to Farvardin) is below the comfort limit (cold), 2 months of the year (the months of Ordibehesht and Mehr) are in a desirable comfort status (comfortable), and 4 months of the year (from Khordad to Shahrivar) are above the comfort limit (hot).

Evaluation of Human Bioclimate in the Southwest of Garmsar Plain for the Purpose of Creating a Tourist-Recreational Complex Using Mahani and Terjong Indices Davood Hassan Abadi 1, Dr. Hassan Lashkari 2 1- PhD graduate in Physical Geography, Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran 2- Associate Professor at Shahid Beheshti University Abstract: Garmsar County, due to its location in a specific geographical position, topographic conditions, and atmospheric systems affecting the region, has acquired unique bioclimatic conditions.
Given that daily human activities usually take place in open spaces, various climatic elements such as air temperature, humidity, air flow, radiation, and precipitation directly affect humans, and the only factor separating the human body from environmental conditions is the type of clothing and the level of their activities.
To study the bioclimatic conditions of the southwest of the Garmsar plain, statistics related to climatic factors—average minimum and maximum temperature, maximum and minimum relative humidity, wind direction and speed, and precipitation—were collected from the Garmsar synoptic station over a 30-year statistical period (1980-2010), then evaluated using the Mahani and Terjung climatic comfort assessment indices, and different times of the year were identified in terms of climatic comfort limits.
Terjung Index: This index, which considers various climatic parameters that control the body's thermal conditions, including radiation, temperature, humidity, wind, and sunshine hours, is considered one of the most valid methods for classifying human bioclimat (eco-climate) (Kaviani, 1993).
Research Findings: The monthly tables of the region determine the day and night comfort status of each month based on temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, and wind.
