Urban Studies in the Circle of Criticism; The Quality and Quantity of Urban Resources through the Lens of Sociology مقاله

In order to examine the quantity and quality of urban resources from a sociological perspective, we have discussed the concerns regarding the production of indigenous texts suitable for urban development with researchers and professors in this field, as follows. The perspective prevalent in the Faculty of Art was a physical one, whereas in the Faculty of Social Sciences, in the form of the Institute for Social Research, they searched for the city as a social concept; the major resources available during this period were mainly translations, and a few original works in the field of urban sociology began to take shape. " In this book, it is emphasized: The president at the time, after the end of the eight-year war, invited the successful governor of Isfahan and handed him the helm of managing the city of Tehran, and the mayor of Tehran announced that he had no need for government budgets and began selling density; up to this moment, our urban planning system has been entangled in the problems resulting from that performance. Of course, recently many books regarding urban topics have been authored and translated, and various issues have been brought to attention; especially in interdisciplinary fields, even some publishers are actively working specifically in the field of the city.
