چکیده:
There are two approaches on the causes of political underdevelopment. The first approach is focused on external causes of political underdevelopment such as the theory of imperialism. The second approach focuses on the internal factors of underdevelopment such as internal political problems, and incompetent political system. This article attempts to apply the method of discourse analysis on political underdevelopment in contemporary Iran. The role of conspiracy discourse as an approach in the aftermath of revolution is discussed. So the answer to this question is going to set the ground for discourse conspiracy in the post-revolutionary Iran which is hypothesized to be the cause of political underdevelopment.

In this regard, works such as the novel Uncle Napoleon by Iraj Pezhakzad, the book The Hidden Hand of England by Khan Malek Sasani, the eight-volume book History of Political Relations between Iran and England in the 19th Century by Mahmoud Mahmoud, the book The Pensioners of England in Iran by Esmail Rayin, the book The True Face of Mossadegh al-Saltaneh by Hassan Ayet, The Testament of Peter the Great and Lahuti Memoirs, as well as the reflection of mythical traditions in some historical and literary works, have played a significant role in promoting the conspiracy discourse.
The fourth category of factors creating knowledge relates to the works of domestic authors throughout the socio-political history of contemporary Iran, which have become the basis for the knowledge construct and power production in the discourse of the illusion of conspiracy, specifically for the purpose of targeting and destroying political culture.
