چکیده:
The social transformations of today's society and the subsequent emergence of new concepts within it have prompted the Persian language to adapt itself to these changes in the field of word formation. In the Persian language, affixation is considered one of the important mechanisms of word formation, and pseudo-verbal affixes have recently, through the process of compounding, taken on an important role alongside true affixes, to the extent that in many cases, they seem to possess a wider lexical field and more auxiliary functions than true affixes; such as the three frequently used pseudo-affixes '-zan', '-dar', and '-khah' in cases like 'pizzazan', 'khanedar', and 'khairkhah'. Therefore, the author in this research has aimed to examine the structure of compound words formed with pseudo-verbal affixes in Persian and also seeks to answer the question of what cognitive indicators these pseudo-affixes are classified based on in the minds of Persian speakers, and subsequently participate in word formation; thus, in the course of conducting this research, the cognitive morphological concept proposed by Hamavand (2011) has been adopted as the theoretical framework, and its achievements, such as the theories of categorization, domain, and conceptualization, have been utilized. The present research has been conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, and its selected samples have been randomly chosen from the Farhang-e Farsi Sokhan (1382).

3. Data Analysis Now, in the present section, we will examine 7 verbal stems "-dar, -zan, -bor, -saz, -pazir, -khah, and -neshin" that play a very active role in constructing new words in various cognitive domains in the Persian language.
In the first concept, after being attached to bases that are nouns of objects, it creates new lexical forms denoting individuals who are the makers and producers of specific products that the root refers to (Keshani 1371, 60), such as "mobl-saz [furniture maker], daru-saz [pharmacist/medicine maker], ghofl-saz [lock maker], and samavar-saz [samovar maker]".
For the aforementioned suffix, in addition to the meanings mentioned, a semantic function can be considered marginally, which denotes individuals who engage in repairing objects that the root refers to, such as the forms "radio-saz [radio repairer] and batari-saz [car battery repairer]".
