Adaptation, allegorical tales, applied drama, Rumi's Masnavi, children and adolescents Introduction Modern theatre and drama are considered a new movement in the new literature of Iran, which, similar to many other contemporary arts, is the result of the encounter of practitioners of this art with Western civilization.
Since drama is a category that, due to its proximity to the mind and imagination, is presented in limited time and space and seeks to appear realistic with the help of human tools and forces, it can be considered one of the best methods for the "indirect education" of children and adolescents through its creativity, beauty, movement, special atmosphere, artistry, abstraction, etc.
Applied Drama In addition to being a performing art, theater has effective educational-pedagogical applications, especially during childhood, because it provides the grounds for creativity and the mental and intellectual growth of child and adolescent audiences.
The above story, by creating a new situation for its actors (children and adolescents), teaches this age group that, primarily, overcoming fear and, secondarily, thinking, creativity, and correct reasoning can be a person's savior in the arena of life.
