چکیده:
Mysticism is one of the fundamental pillars of the Islamic worldview, which has manifested itself in various aspects of human life. Among the topics that have a deep connection with mysticism and Sufism is Islamic art. One of the most important branches of Islamic art is Islamic architecture, which has had the ability to excellently manifest mysticism and Sufism. In Islamic architectural art, initially mosques—the number of which is seen in abundance across Islamic lands—and subsequently funerary buildings have been able to bring mysticism and Sufism, which are rooted in the firm beliefs and religious convictions of Muslims, to the platform of manifestation. The funerary buildings of great religious figures, sheikhs, and great Sayyids, who were pioneers of mysticism and Sufism in their era, were built by their disciples and followers, who were either rulers or common people. In the structure of these buildings, inspiration has been taken from the primary elements of human life, and in their decorations, Quranic texts and Hadiths have been used with Islamic calligraphy, which has provided a spiritual and mystical atmosphere within them. In this writing, the contexts of mysticism and Sufism in Dar al-Irshad Ardabil, the mystical personality of Sheikh Amin al-Din Jebraeel, and the discovery of the influence and effects of Islamic mysticism and wisdom in the architectural structure and the surrounding elements of this mystic's shrine, as well as the spread of Shiism, mysticism, and Sufism, are analyzed and examined; therefore, the question in this article is to what extent the shrine of Sheikh Amin al-Din contributed to the manifestation of the mysticism and Sufism of his time and thereafter? The research method in this writing is analytical-historical, documentary, and field-based, and the tool of work is library-based.
