چکیده:
Religion as belief and a way of life, and art as the physical and material manifestation of beliefs and convictions, have long played a role in giving meaning to human life. Religions have been guides and explainers of human beliefs regarding the beginning and end of life, determining the path and manner of moving toward the ultimate goal of man. In this journey, where every subject, object, and activity is considered meaningful, religious values, as nourishment for art, have guided humans to create spaces, environments, forms, and structures that assist humans in better understanding their beliefs and also help them in performing their religious rituals, which guide them toward spirituality and perfection. Accordingly, the connection between religion and various branches of art has existed in all religions with varying degrees of intensity and weakness, or in other words, different levels of attention to art in various religions.

In the context of creating a suitable space for worship and rituals, which of course serves as a reminder and a mention of the spirituality intended by each religion, one of the most prominent aspects of the connection between art and religion, or the manifestation of the influence of religion on art, has come to light in the creation of religious architecture in all societies.
On the other hand, no other category like art can introduce to humans the subtleties, truths, meanings, beauties, and spirituality of life and the metaphysics, or in other words, the truth and the kingdom of the universe.
