With the acceptance of Islam by the Aws and Khazraj and the migration of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) to Yathrib, this city became Medina al-Nabi and its people became known as the Ansar. The Ansar held almost specific positions regarding the transformations of the Islamic world in the events before and after the passing of the Prophet (PBUH). During the era of the Prophet (PBUH), they were his followers, and in the post-Prophetic era, whether at Saqifa or in the Ridda wars and conquests, they were present and, alongside the Muhajirun, were considered among the main decision-makers and executors of these events. In the midst of this, some individuals from the Ansar were also found who acted against their public will and took different positions from other Ansar. In this writing, an attempt has been made using a descriptive-analytical method and relying on primary sources to evaluate and critique the differing positions of two members of the Ansar; Bashir bin Sa'd and his son Nu'man, in opposition to the public will of this group. The results obtained, especially regarding Nu'man bin Bashir, show a tendency towards the Umayyads and opposition to the Alids.
