Luli through History and Literature: An Introduction to Recognizing Gypsies and Their Influence on Persian Literature Alireza Habibibasht* Abstract The present research is a critical essay, based on existing and authentic documents, regarding the gypsies of the world, especially Iran and Europe, as well as the method of their historical formation and evolution and the role played by gypsies in Iranian and world literature. In fact, it was a description of the events and characteristics of the Lulians and the historical and narrative flow of the Luli people, rather than a literary and aesthetic perspective, such as how Hafez viewed it in the eighth century. Lulis, Lorians, or Gypsies are one of the social classes of human society that have played an extensive role in the social, environmental, cultural, and linguistic structures of different nations. In this research, an effort was made to provide enlightenment and a more thorough investigation of the Gypsies, addressing the history and origin of the Luli migration, and the extensive influences of this social class on the Persian language and literature. If we refer to Assyrian culture, in response to the word (Gypsy) it has used "Koli" and considers their most prominent characteristics to be tent-dwelling, marginalization, and dancing. "Snow Poem" Or the famous poem "Winter" says: It is I, I, the guest of every night Luli-like and sorrowful Although there are many untold stories about the Gypsies, much remains hidden, and this mythic motif must be examined more than ever from historical, sociological, and literary perspectives within the mind and language of the history and culture of Iran and the world.
