280 students were selected from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz using a multi-stage random sampling method based on the Krejcie and Morgan table, and they completed the love styles scale by Hendrick et al.
Love is one of the important topics that has been raised in social psychology in the past few decades and is a process through which humans are attracted to each other; it may be considered as a combination of friendship and sexual relationship, and today in Western culture, it is defined as a framework for choosing a life partner (Fowler4, 2007).
Various studies have investigated the difference between men 1-passion 2-commitment 3-Lee's 4-Blass, & Hahn 5-Eros 6-Mania 7-Storage 8-Agape 9-Ludus 10-Pragma and women in attitudes and beliefs toward love and love styles have been investigated (Spracher et al.
In this research, for the selection 1- Hendrick, & Hendrick 2-Dion, & Dion 3-Bugay, & Tezer 4-Heaven, Silva, Carey, & Holen 5-Krejcie, & Morgan The sample was first selected from 5 out of 11 faculties, and in the next stage, from among the undergraduate and graduate students of each faculty based on their year of entry to the university, four cohorts (88, 87, 86, 85) were selected, consisting of 123 men and 157 women.
Thus, it can be stated that individuals with the Pragma love style are intermediate and pragmatic, seeking to achieve compatibility in terms of personal and social qualities and in choosing their romantic partners, they consider contextual characteristics such as religion, education, and family backgrounds more important than characteristics like physical attractiveness.
