چکیده:
The Middle East enjoys a special position and importance in the global system. Recent developments (popular-religious movements) in this geo-strategic region have had a profound impact on the equations of the global system, especially at the regional level. Influenced by recent developments, the strategic position of America as a hegemon with national interests on a global scale and the Islamic Republic of Iran as a regional power has undergone significant changes and transformations. This research seeks to examine and analyze the impact of these developments on the strategic weight and position of Iran and America as two strategic rivals in the Middle East. The findings of this research are based on the premise that recent developments are moving towards the formation of popular-religious governments centered around Islam. Given the popular-Islamic nature of these revolutions, the strategic position and weight of Iran in the region (considering the goals and nature of the political system of the Islamic Republic of Iran) is increasing, and consequently, the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region will be strengthened; conversely, the strategic position and weight of America in the region is declining, which will result in the decline of America's trend of hegemony in the region.
خلاصه ماشینی:
" After the occurrence of the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has also pursued a specific strategy in the region, which is based on the formation of a new Middle East centered on the comprehensive independence of the countries in the region and, consequently, the reduction of the influence of great powers, including the United States, in the region.
To answer the questions raised, this research seeks to examine this hypothesis: parallel to the orientation of recent regional developments towards the formation of governments based 20 on a popular-religious basis, the influence of the United States as the hegemon power in the region will decrease will occur, and the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran will increase in its position as a country whose macro-strategy is centered on a Middle East free from the influence of great powers.
For this reason, this important region of the world holds special importance in 27 foreign policy apparatus of America, and it has caused America, as a great world power with national interests on a global scale, to react to the developments of this region and seek to have a strategic management and control of the developments of this region from the world, because the control of this region by the United States plays a special role in continuing the process of America's political-ideological hegemonism over the international system and the Middle East.
