چکیده:
Slavoj Žižek's theory of ideology critique, as one of the major theories in the field of ideology, shares commonalities with the discourse theory of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe; however, at the same time, Žižek emphasizes the radical political implications of his theory, which are completely different from radical democracy, because he believes that discourse theory has ignored the problem of ideology. In this article, the author attempts to explain the differences between discourse theory and ideology critique in order to emphasize the theoretical and methodological capacities of the latter theory in explaining various ideologies. Therefore, after a brief review of the evolution of the concept of ideology, Lacanian concepts present in Žižek's theory of ideology critique are explained. Finally, critical semiotics is added as a complementary methodological tool for this theory, which possesses certain methodological ambiguities.

He says about this: "[The book] Hegemony and Socialist Strategy is usually read as a discourse on post-structuralist politics; a discourse that transforms basic post-structuralist ideas (there are no transcendental signifieds; reality is a discursive construct; any specific identity, including the subject's identity, is the contingent effect of differential relations, etc.
The real achievement of hegemony is embodied in the concept of social antagonism: regardless of reducing all reality to a kind of linguistic game, the socio-symbolic field is imagined as a construct around a specific event, meaning around a specific gap that cannot be symbolized.
(3) From Zizek's perspective, the book "Hegemony and Socialist Strategy" deviates from Laclau's previous book, "Political Logic and Marxist Theory," regarding the issue of the subject.
Symbolization In short, while Zizek's theory of the critique of ideology has distinct boundaries with discourse theory, it also shares commonalities due to the existence of shared concepts and concerns and specific theoretical foundations rooted in Saussurean linguistics and Lacanian psychoanalysis.
Third, to provide a new reading of the theory of ideology using Lacanian concepts (the point de capiton, the sublime object, jouissance, etc.
