چکیده:
This research examines the feasibility of implementing the components of the European Foundation for Quality Management model in the libraries of Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Shahid Beheshti University. In this study, the statistical population consists of managers and librarians of these three universities' libraries. For statistical analysis, univariate t-tests, independent t-tests, and LSD follow-up tests were used. The results showed that it is possible to implement nine components (leadership, policy and strategy, people, partnerships and resources, processes, customer results, people results, societal results, and key performance indicators) in the libraries of Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Shahid Beheshti University. Since this study examined the views of library staff at these three universities regarding the feasibility of implementing the components of this model based on demographic characteristics (gender, position, field of study, educational degree, years of service, and university), the results showed that there are significant differences (P < 0.05) between staff views regarding the feasibility of implementing the European Foundation for Quality Management model based on gender, position, field of study, and educational degree; however, there are no significant differences between the views of the studied staff regarding the feasibility of implementing this model based on years of service and university.
