چکیده:
Objective: This research aims to conduct a comparative study of the status of Payame Noor University libraries in provincial centers based on 'Iranian Academic Library Standards'. Research Method: This research was conducted using a survey-analytical method, and the data collection tool was a questionnaire. The research population consists of all Payame Noor University libraries located in provincial centers. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Excel software. The results of the data analysis show. Findings: The results of the data analysis show that, on average, in terms of quality, they comply with the goals and functions standard (59.98%), organization and management standard (62.33%), human resources standard (59.43%), collection standard (55.83%), resource organization standard (75%), services standard (49.52%), building and equipment standard (38.32%), and budget standard (35.25%). The overall average compliance of the studied libraries with the standards in terms of quality is (54.45%), but in terms of a quantitative approach, the human resources standard (5.72%) and the library collection standard (13.13%) have a significant difference from the standards. Regarding the level of compliance of the studied libraries for adhering to the required space standard, they are in an unfavorable situation (7.09%). Conclusion: Out of the 8 investigated standards, the resource organization standard has the highest level of compliance (75%), and the quantitative approach to the human resources standard (5.72%) has the lowest level of compliance. The findings of the present research confirm the research hypothesis: 'Payame Noor University libraries in provincial centers do not comply with the "Iranian Academic Library Standards"'.

Sixth Standard: Services in the studied libraries To answer the second question of the research titled, "To what extent do the services provided for the use of resources in the provincial center libraries of Payame Noor University comply with the 'Standards of Iranian Academic Libraries'?", 2 quantitative questions and 11 qualitative questions were raised.
