چکیده:
The draft of the Iraq-US security agreement was unilaterally prepared by the Americans in Bahman 1386 (January 2008) and reached a preliminary signing by officials of the two countries, Iraq and the United States, on 27 Esfand 1386 (March 17, 2008). Despite much controversy and opposition from the majority of the Iraqi people, on 26 Aban 1387, the Iraqi government cabinet approved the draft of the security agreement and sent it to the Iraqi parliament for final approval. This agreement has various axes, the security axis being the most important and, at the same time, the most dangerous axis of this agreement. The security axis of the long-term agreement between the US and the Iraqi government is based on the military and armament equipping of the Iraqi government, but the Americans declare the goal of this action to be supporting Iraq against external and internal threats and cooperating to strengthen the Iraqi military and train and equip them. The realization of the axes of the Washington and Baghdad agreement will turn Iraq into a military base for the United States. The issue of 'capitulation' is another one of the humiliating provisions of this agreement, which, despite some reforms, still remains ambiguous. This agreement has faced opposition from domestic currents and some neighbors and regional countries. Currently, the Washington-Baghdad security agreement has become the most important issue in the current developments of Iraq. The present writing will actually address the axes of this agreement and the supporters and opponents of this agreement.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Although America's effort to conclude this security pact was accompanied by the desire and will of some political parties that benefit from the presence of American forces to guarantee their support and survival at the helm of government, many oppositions also occurred, both from the people and influential domestic currents in Iraq, and from some Arab countries neighboring Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The time limit for the presence of forces in Iraq is long-term and unlimited, and its determination depends on the conditions of this country, and the review of this matter belongs to the Iraqi government and the US government; however, this review also depends on the improvement of the performance of Iraq's security and military organizations, as well as the security situation of this country, the realization of national reconciliation in this country, the eradication of terrorism therein, warning neighboring countries, the Iraqi government gaining full control of the country, ending the freedom and presence of paramilitary groups, and reaching an agreement on the withdrawal of American forces from this country.
Ultimately, with the amendment of the initial text of the security agreement and the determination of the time for the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq (the end of 2011), the Iraqi government cabinet sent it to the parliament for finalization after its approval.
ir/News/?id Introduction In November 2007, White House officials presented a proposal to senior Iraqi government officials, based on which American military-security officials would put the preparation and drafting of a long-term agreement between the United States and Iraq on their agenda.
