As history shows and as recently discovered works indicate, humans have constantly lived in a social context. Islam is the only religion that explicitly builds the foundation of its call upon society and has not neglected the matter of society in any of its affairs; rather, it has cast all its rulings within the framework of society and breathed the spirit of community into all these rulings to the greatest extent possible. The Holy Quran has called Muslims to unity and consensus in various instances and warns them against the disastrous end of division and disagreement, which demonstrates that Islam is a religion of unity and integrity. The reason why such emphasis is placed on unity and integrity in Islam is that if people wish to accomplish a task, they can remove obstacles from their path and reach their destination quickly under the shadow of unity and solidarity. Therefore, we see that Islam has opened the way for the formation of a single global community from various aspects; because: First: It has completely removed the issue of racial discrimination from the ranks of social issues and rendered it entirely worthless. Second: Disregarding geographical borders, it considers the entire face of the earth to be God's vast country and says: 'O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me.' Third: Through its teachings and rulings, Islam has made extensive efforts to create a point of intellectual unity and, so to speak, 'ideological unity' among all human beings.
