The collaborative variable also plays a deterrent role because although it has a high basic coefficient, its loading is around zero, meaning that even though it did not have a significant relationship with communication patterns itself, its presence in the analysis, by removing the irregular variance of other conflict resolution style variables, has helped improve the relationship.
As stated in the results section, the higher the level of dialogue between boys and their fathers, the more they use collaborative and accommodating conflict resolution styles, respectively.
In the case of girls, the higher the score they obtain in the dimension of dialogue with their fathers, the more they use compromising and collaborative conflict resolution styles, respectively.
Similarly, boys and girls who have reported high dialogue in their communication pattern with their mothers use a collaborative conflict resolution style.
Regarding the congruence dimension, the results also showed that the more congruence boys report with their fathers, the more they use compromising, dominating, and avoiding conflict resolution styles, respectively.
