چکیده:
One of the most important ways to counter threats and ensure national security is to increase the country's defense capabilities and deterrence power. Despite limitations in providing the necessary defense items for the armed forces, paying more attention than ever to strengthening and developing defense industries is imperative. Today, the country's defense industry, like many organizations, is under the heavy influence of environmental changes and international relations. The existence of intense arms competition, the rapid obsolescence cycle of weapons, the increasing emergence of advanced weapons, and any technological developments and changes in production tools and methods can quickly affect the organization and create new needs. Additionally, the necessity of paying attention to economic, political, social, cultural, and military conditions in the national and regional environment raises questions regarding the country's defense industry, as follows: How should the existing structures of the country's defense industry change to be consistent with technological growth and environmental developments? What pattern or design can be proposed to create changes and design new structures for the country's defense industry? Undoubtedly, with the rapid progress of science and technology, new methods and weapons will be employed in operational theaters and future wars, and defense industries must continuously respond to the supply of new needs to counter future threats. In this regard, in order to maintain readiness and improve its performance, the defense industry must always seek to create necessary changes in existing structures in proportion to environmental and technological developments. In this article, first, a brief reference is made to the theoretical foundations and the determining factors of structure, patterns, and new organizational trends. Then, using the experiences and general approaches of other countries and the views of experts, the characteristics and specifications of an appropriate pattern are explained, and the main question is answered by presenting a proposed model.

According to the discussed model, by strengthening technological foundations, creating the necessary capability at the national level, and establishing design and production management units in military industries, the possibility of achieving any type of requirement suitable for threat and combat scenarios should be provided in a better manner.
