Among the first poets who can be the subject of discussion are Qatran Tabrizi and Asadi Tusi, who had come from Tus to Azerbaijan; and it is evident that in both these poets, the Khorasani style was perfected in the same manner as the Khorasanis, especially Asadi Tusi, who perhaps came to Azerbaijan to spread the Dari language, and other orators such as Zahir al-Din Faryabi, Athir al-Din Akhsikati, Abu al-Ala Ganjavi, Falaki Shirvani, Khaqani Shirvani, Nizami Ganjavi, Mujir Bilqani, Qawami Mutarrizi Ganjavi, Kamal al-Din Maraghi, and many others who, in the capacity of poets, strove in various fields of Persian literature—from love and mysticism to preaching, wisdom, satire, humor, and epic—and sometimes brought speech from harshness to gentleness with a mild tone, and at other times from gentleness to harshness, and alongside inventive literature, they raised critical literature, boasting, and satirical humor to a high level, and were able to present these issues as one of the subjects of &%02209PANG022G% design poetry in Persian literature.
