The collapse of the polytheistic and Taghut system in Mecca and its conquest brought about great political, moral, social, and economic achievements for Muslims and the emerging Islamic community. In this article, ten of these achievements are addressed around two main axes. The first axis: Political achievements of the Conquest of Mecca: 1. The sovereignty of Islam over the Arabian Peninsula; 2. The end of the political power of the polytheists and the eradication of idolatry; 3. The resonance of the call of Monotheism in the stronghold of polytheism; 4. Public allegiance (Bay'ah); 5. Disassociation from the polytheists. The second axis: Explaining the values and anti-values of the Islamic community: 1. Equality; 2. Islamic brotherhood; 3. The end of Jahiliyyah thought; 4. Consolidation of the culture of forgiveness and dignity; 5. Commitment to the implementation of divine law.
