Professional Ethics of Lawyering Mohammad Reza Naderi{o1o} Introduction: Generally, humans possess specific moral characteristics in their individual and personality dimensions that shape their thoughts, speech, and behavior.
Ethics has been defined as a set of spiritual and internal qualities of a human being that manifest outwardly in the form of actions and behaviors resulting from the inner dispositions of the person, and professional ethics is the external symbol of organizations and their ethical behaviors.
Organizational ethics deals with the study and identification of the rules and regulations of human behavior in specific occupations and subjects such as the formulation of a code of ethics, laws and standards of behavior, training, ethics, management of ethics, decision-making, and the culture of ethics.
Professional Ethics: Establishing fully defined relationships with complete independence between the lawyer and the client is a reformist movement that deals with the formulation and establishment of ethical principles in the profession, which includes the study and identification of the rules and regulations of lawyer behavior and positions such as the formulation of a code of ethics, laws and standards of conduct, ethics education, ethics management, decision-making ethics, culture, the atmosphere of ethics, and the infrastructure of ethics.
Of course, it is obvious that a society has specific and general belief principles, and a professional group consists of individuals with different tastes and beliefs.
The few remaining beliefs of the people are becoming fainter day by day, and this is a major alarm for society and, consequently, for the Bar Association (a specific group) which is facing a crisis of being stripped of ethical principles.
