چکیده:
This study is an attempt to evaluate the relationship between the geographical distribution of housing for low-income groups and the prevalence of addiction in different areas of the city of Babol. In this research, 73 statistical areas of the city of Babol were examined based on two indicators: the percentage of addiction and the percentage of households with four or more members living in one room, and maps were drawn using GIS software. In this article, by examining the percentage of households with four or more members living in one room and the density of addicts, the author shows that there is a higher percentage of inadequate housing and addiction in the southern and peripheral areas of the city. Furthermore, using regression analysis and the HO hypothesis, a significant positive relationship between the two variables—the increase in inadequate housing and the frequency of addiction—is confirmed. The research results show that in areas where the percentage of households with four or more members living in one room increases, the percentage of addiction in that area also tends to increase. In other words, with the geographical concentration of housing poverty, the rate of addiction increases in the south and periphery of the city of Babol.

In this research, 73 statistical areas of the city of Babil were examined based on two indicators: the percentage of addiction and the percentage of households of four or more people living in one room, and maps were drawn using GIS software.
In this article, by examining the percentage of households of four or more people living in one room and the density of addicts, the author shows that in the southern and peripheral areas of the city, there is a higher percentage of inadequate housing and addiction.
Then, different areas of Babil are assessed based on the housing poverty index (percentage of households of four or more people living in one room) and the addiction index.
In this research, the author has also used the statistics of the percentage of households with four or more members who have only one room for living, in order to examine the geography of high-density poverty areas in the city of Babol.
(1)- gini index Research Hypothesis It seems that with an increase in the percentage of households with four or more members living in one room in different areas of the city of Babol, the percentage of addicts increases.
The research method was as follows: using the raw tables of the Statistical Center of Iran, the number and percentage of households with four or more members living in each room (as a criterion for poverty) were extracted for each zone, and thematic maps were prepared.
