چکیده:
This article, inspired by Almond and Verba's political typology regarding "political culture," examines the political culture of the people of Mazandaran. To this end, survey methods and the selection of desired samples were used in accordance with scientific methods, such that the research results are generalizable to the entire province of Mazandaran. According to the research findings extracted from 331 samples, the cognitive dimension of the political culture of the people of Mazandaran has less strength compared to the affective and judgmental dimensions. From another perspective, the findings show that parochial or subject culture possesses a greater extent in Mazandaran compared to participant and limited political culture. Furthermore, between consensus-oriented and conflict-oriented political culture, the political culture of the people of Mazandaran shows a greater tendency toward consensus-oriented culture in the field of public policy and the foundations of the legitimacy of the political system.
