The armed forces are a main pillar of national security, and one of the major factors in their combat readiness is the service morale of the employees, and the status of employee salaries and benefits is also considered one of the important components of service morale. The basic goal of a salary and wage payment system is generally to pay fair compensation proportional to the effort that employees exert in performing the duties and responsibilities of the organization. Achieving this goal, while providing welfare and comfort for employees, is in the interest of the organization and the country and is effective in increasing the national security coefficient, because an individual receiving sufficient and proportional salary will be able to provide for their basic and essential needs and those of their family, and at the same time, it will be an effective motivation for the development of skills, information, and holding high-responsibility jobs, which will lead to improving the service morale of employees and ultimately affect national security. Therefore, investigating the current status of salaries and benefits of the armed forces employees is of great importance because it has a significant impact on increasing the national security coefficient.
