Various works have emerged regarding the structure and origin of stories and myths of different nations of the world. Some researchers, with a comparative perspective, have compared the works of two or more ethnic groups with each other. Since Indians and Iranians have had many intellectual, geographical, and historical connections since ancient times, many grounds have also been provided for researchers interested in studying the works of these two peoples. Undoubtedly, 'Panchatantra' and 'Ferdowsi's Shahnameh' are two important and ancient works for the people of India and Iran, and these two works hold a special place in the culture of the two nations. In this article, an attempt has been made to compare the structural components of the stories of Afrasiyab and Siyavash in the Shahnameh and the Lion and the Bull in Kalila and Demna from a structural perspective. It is noteworthy that these components are amazingly similar to each other. It is worth mentioning that an effort has been made to show if there are any differences between various narrations of these two stories. Also, due to the great similarity between the story of the Lion and the Pious Camel in Marzbannameh and the Lion and the Jackal in Kalila and Demna, reference is also made to the similarities of the latter two stories, and finally, given the very similar structure of the two stories, an analysis is also provided.
