On the tenth day of the month Bagayadhish [7], I, along with those who were in obedience to me, killed that Gamata Magushi, and the nobles and those who were with him in the fortress of Saktawatash [8] in the district of Mada called Nasaya [9], I killed him, and by the grace of Ahura Mazda, I took the kingdom from him and became king; Ahura Mazda granted me the crown. Eighth Paragraph Darius the King says: For the second time, the rebels gathered and drew up battle lines against Dadarshish; war took place in the vicinity of Tigra-1, one of the fortresses of Armenia. Ninth Paragraph Darius the King says: For the third time, the rebels gathered and drew up battle lines against Dadarshish; war took place near one of the fortresses of Armenia. Eleventh Paragraph Darius the King says: For the second time, the rebels gathered and arrayed battle lines against Vamasa; war took place in Utia-ra, one of the blocks of Armenia. Ahura Mazda granted him favor-3; by the grace of Ahura Mazda, Vashtaspa completely defeated the rebellious army, and it was on the twenty-second day of the month of Vakhna-4 that this war took place.
