Teaching foreign languages in Japan A) Japanese universities can currently offer approximately 54 foreign language teaching courses. Written educational materials include textbooks, introductory language grammars, and dictionaries. Below, I refer to those educational materials that have been written in Japanese and designed for the use of Japanese students in universities and other institutions in Japan. C. Improving educational materials As you have probably realized, the history of teaching the Persian language in Japan has been short. Therefore, we must admit that the educational materials related to teaching the Persian language in Japan have deficiencies. In addition to improving the status of educational materials, great care must be taken in choosing the type of teaching method for the Persian language, such as the direct method, audio-visual method, or the translation method.
