Black color: The necessary materials for preparing black color are: Sang-e Shisheh, Qelya, and Malgh, which are combined according to the following instructions: first, the white color materials, Sang-e Shisheh, and Qelya are ground again after being baked, then a sufficient amount of Malgh (Malgh is a black mineral stone that Jeyl-makers use to make black color and ink, which is necessary for calligraphy on tiles) is added to it and it is ground until it becomes completely soft; the resulting powder mixture is the black color, which is mostly used for coloring tiles.
