Prime Minister Number 21/2526 11/2/36 Ministry of Labor The Imperial Decree regarding the implementation of the law related to the accession of the Government of Iran to International Convention No. 29 concerning the Abolition of Forced Labour, and the aforementioned law, which has been approved by both houses of the National Consultative Assembly and the Senate, is hereby promulgated as follows. With the blessings of Almighty God We Pahlavi, Shahanshah of Iran Place of Royal Sanction In accordance with the valid twenty-seventh amendment to the Constitution, we decree: Article One- The law related to the accession of the Government of Iran to International Convention No. 29 concerning the Abolition of Forced Labour, which has been approved by both the Senate and the National Consultative Assembly and is attached to this handwriting, shall be implemented. Furthermore, the high authorities of any country may, in the cases mentioned in Article 23 and under the conditions specified in this very article, delegate the right to use forced labour to local high authorities, even if it results in the removal of workers from their place of residence, provided that the referred work is carried out for the purpose of facilitating the travel of local officials or their belongings. Article 22- Along with the reports that countries which have joined this Convention must submit to the International Labour Office regarding the implementation of its provisions, in accordance with Article 22 of the ILO Constitution, the extent of the conditions of compulsory labor in the relevant regions and areas of that country, as far as possible, and interesting information shall be mentioned.
