چکیده:
In this research, auditor quality, asset reliance, and firm valuation have been examined simultaneously, considering auditor quality in the evaluation of shareholders' equity. To determine the level of reliance of assets and liabilities, the method of Richardson et al. (2005), who divided assets into four categories, was used. The aforementioned researchers categorized assets and liabilities into low-reliance assets and liabilities, medium-reliance assets and liabilities, high-reliance assets and liabilities, and assets and liabilities that are not classified in terms of reliance level. The criteria for determining the level of auditor quality in this research were three factors: the duration of the auditor-client relationship, the size of the audit firm, and the specialization of independent auditors. The results of the research showed that the continuity of the auditor-client relationship has no impact on auditor quality. However, the size of the audit firm and the specialization of auditors lead to an improvement in auditor quality. The second hypothesis of the research, based on the non-impact of auditor quality on the market's view regarding the value of high-reliance assets and liabilities, was also confirmed.

The criteria for determining the level of auditor quality in this research were three factors: the duration of the relationship between the auditor and the client, the size of the audit firm, and the specialization of independent auditors.
Key concepts: audit firm size, specialization of independent auditors, continuity of auditor-client relationship, asset reliability, auditor quality, stock market value Introduction In this research, for the first time in Iran, the relationship between the financial information provided in financial statements and auditor quality with the stock market value has been examined.
The specific research hypotheses, which are proposed based on independent variables and categorized by each of the three characteristics of auditor quality, are as follows: A) Hypotheses related to the characteristic of continuity of cooperation between the auditor and the client: 1- The long duration of cooperation between the auditor and the client compensates for the low reliability of accounts receivable in the evaluation of the stock market value.
13- The large size of the audit firm compensates for the medium reliability of long-term investments in the evaluation of the company's stock market value.
18- The large size of the audit firm has no effect on the market's view regarding long-term liabilities in the evaluation of the company's stock market value.
In other words, the research results show that the large size of the audit firm leads to an improvement in the market's view toward the financial information published by companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange.
