In England, the position of legal consultant is higher than the position of advocacy in lawsuits and has more social advantages, because judges are constantly selected from this class, and defense lawyers are often selected for political-governmental positions such as prosecution and government advisory, both of which are considered important judicial professions in that country; and customarily, defense lawyers take charge of more state services and local people's powers. To attain the rank of advocacy in defense in England, the applicant must pass special examinations in the science of law and also must accept membership in one of the four judicial institutions called Inn (1). The four aforementioned institutions are: 1- Gray's Inn, 2- Lincoln's Inn, 3- Inner Temple, 4- Middle Temple, each of which has been founded for centuries and the management of its affairs is in the hands of a senior defense lawyer called a Bencher (2): when a novice enters one of these institutions, before passing the final exam, they must undergo six terms or sessions. Because legal advocacy is not like other professions where, immediately after passing special examinations and completing a certain period, a person is in expectation of job referrals and abundant income. Each novice consulting lawyer must, before beginning his work, serve as a clerk to a senior lawyer, and before entering the clerical profession, he must obtain the consent of the Law Society in this regard.
