چکیده:
Soufist Inclinations of Muhammad Shah were special among Qajarid kings. Most of the king of this dynasty possessed some sort of religious bigotry. However، due to their despotic power structure specifically till the end of Nasser-al-Din Shah، the common political behavior of all of them used to be despotism and absolutism. As its aftermath، Muhammad Shah murdered Ghaem Magham Farahani، who was the most deserved minister of the Qajarids، at the beginning of his reign. This was what Fath-ali Shah did to Etemad-al Dollah before hin and what Naser-al Din hah did to Amir Kabir after him. They established a tradition of murdering ministers. Consequently، Mirza Agha Khan Nouri، who was the most undeserving minister with English inclinations، asked for a guarantee of his life in case of betrayal، wrongdoing and abdication. Thus Muhammad Shah’s Suffist manners made him choose his master and teacher Hajj Mirza Aghassi as his chancellor for the 12 remaining years of his reign in order not to let himself or the others to oppose him. Unlike Ghaem Magham، Hajj Mirza Aghassi was devoid of any abilities in managing a country. As a result of these two decisions – dismissing and then murdering Ghaem Magham and the assignment of Hajj Mirza Aghassi- the decline of the country on its path to backwardness، which started by the previous king، sped up. Hajj Mirza Aghassi’s character was not all to blame and can not be judged as clearly as the other ministers as we can not judge the character of Muhammad Sha’s character as the other kings. These two have been defended by those who believe in [Suffist] thoughts. In this article، I have embarked on explaining the deep and stable relationships between these two and their ignoring the country and its people.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Haji did not possess any of the relatively clear precedents that the Shah enjoyed; Mohammad Shah, apart from the educational diligence of his father and benefiting from the consultation of Qa'im Maqam, who were family servants to the Qajar dynasty, participated alongside his brave and worthy father Abbas Mirza in many wars, especially the second Iran-Russia war which led to the Treaty of Turkmenchay56.
While the least amount of educational attention was paid by Mohammad Shah regarding the crown prince Naser al-Din Mirza, the appointment of Reza Qoli Khan Hedayat, one of the great literati of the Qajar era, for the upbringing and education of Abbas Mirza is also significant in this regard.
At the same time, Mohammad Shah's dervish-like character caused him to entrust the 12-year premiership of the remainder of his reign to Haj Mirza Aqasi, making him his desired leader and mentor, so that neither he nor anyone else would dare to oppose him.
VK} Abbas Mirza, the Naib al-Saltaneh, exerted great educational effort regarding his son Mohammad Mirza1; therefore, with political wisdom and a national intention, he placed Qa'im Maqam, who was the object of his complete trust, alongside the crown prince2 and advised both to cooperate, although there was no initial desire or will for this cooperation in either of them3.
179 of Sadr al-Tawarikh by Mohammad Hassan Etemad al-Saltaneh, most sources, especially foreign sources, have mentioned this interest in Abbas Mirza, while domestic ones have refrained due to considerations for Naser al-Din Shah.
