Among the Most Superior Women of Both Worlds The most superior women of the universe are composed of four women; as Ibn al-Athir narrates from Anas bin Malik from the Prophet of Islam صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله, who said: «خَيْرُ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ مريمُ، آسِيةُ، خديجةُ وَ فاطِمةُ؛(5) The best women of the worlds are Maryam, Asiya, Khadija, and Fatima عليهاالسلام. "Ikrimah" narrates from "Ibn Abbas" that the Noble Messenger صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله said: «اَفْضَلُ نِساءِ اَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خَديجةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلَدٍ وَ فاطِمةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مَرْيَمُ ابْنَةُ عِمْرانَ وَ آسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزاحِمٍ اِمْرَأةُ فِرْعَوْنَ؛(6) The best women of Paradise are these: Khadija daughter of Khuwaylid, Fatima daughter of Muhammad, Maryam daughter of Imran, and Asiya daughter of Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh. The late Sheikh Saduq narrates from Imam Sadiq عليه‏السلام that he said: «تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ بِخَمْسَ عَشَرَ اِمْرَأَةً اَفْضَلُهُنَّ خَديجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلَدٍ؛(7) The Messenger of Allah صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله married fifteen women, the best of whom was Khadija daughter of Khuwaylid. Among all the children of the Prophet Muhammad صلى‏الله‏عليه‏و‏آله, Fatima Zahra عليهاالسلام enjoys an excellent status; because she possesses both infallibility(9) and the Imamate and guardianship, which continues through her lineage.
