چکیده:
The late Ostad Mojtaba Minavi is among the predecessors in contemporary Shahnameh studies, whose most important and well-known scientific activity in this field has been the supervision of the Shahnameh Foundation and the implementation of the first project for a refined correction of the Shahnameh in Iran. Ostad Minavi's direct and independent theories regarding the correction and textual criticism of the Shahnameh—upon which the general working method of Shahnameh Foundation researchers is based—can be divided into five sections as inferred from his collective Shahnameh-related works (books, articles, lectures, and interviews): 1. General and universal points 2. Theories related to the correction of the Shahnameh 3. Regarding added and attributed verses 4. The correction of two verses of the Shahnameh 5. Regarding the manuscripts and editions of the Shahnameh. In this article, while classifying and explaining Ostad Minavi's views under each of the aforementioned topics, a critique and review of some of his most important corrective recordings (in the field of Iran's national epic) and the Shahnameh Foundation, namely the Siyavash story, are addressed, which constitutes the first critique of this text several years after its publication.
خلاصه ماشینی:
The term "textual criticism" refers to efforts and writings related to various aspects of codicology and the correction of the text of Iran's national epic, which from the very beginning of Professor Minovi's scientific life was one of his concerns and areas of interest, such that apparently his first work in this field was the endeavor to compare the first volume of the Vollers edition of the Shahnameh with other editions around the year (1313 SH), which was published in Tehran by the Broxim bookstore.
Qarib-Behboudi34; however, the recording in most reliable manuscripts, including the foundational manuscript of the Shahnameh Foundation, Britain / London (675 AH), is "نه من دی صد و شصت تیر خدنگ" — meaning almost the same exaggerated form criticized by the Professor — (î; Khaleqi 5/412/ footnote 19), which has also been selected in the corrections of Dr. Khaleqi Motlagh (5/412/1388) and Mr. Jihouni (3/1210/1380).
Among these, the Story of Siyavash is considered the most important corrective work of the Shahnameh Foundation, which, based on 8 manuscripts41 and comparison with Bandari's Arabic translation, was corrected and prepared for printing during the years (1351-1355) through the efforts of Professor Minovi and the collaboration of the text researcher, the late Mohammad Mokhtari; the Professor granted permission to print its final text during the days of his illness and the final days of his fruitful life42.
