خلاصه ماشینی:
According to the preamble of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic, this law "is the clarifier of the cultural, social, political, and economic institutions of Iranian society based on Islamic principles and regulations, which is the reflection of the heart's desire of the Islamic Ummah.
For this reason, despite some guarantees that can be seen in its Constitution, the Islamic Republic regime tolerates neither religious minorities nor any dissenting groups, and does not treat them with tolerance and forbearance, which are essential factors for the growth of civil society.
Whether regarding women and religious minorities, or even regarding the Shiite majority of Iran, the Islamic Republic regime defines and determines freedoms and citizenship rights only within the narrow framework of its own views and interpretations of an Islamic society.
The unification of political and religious authority, the acceptance of the principle of Velayat-e Faqih as the philosophy of government, and the virtually unlimited powers and responsibilities that the Constitution of the Islamic Republic granted to Ayatollah Khomeini, collectively led to the increased dominance of the patriarchal system in Iranian society.
However, the Islamic Consultative Assembly will transform into one of the institutions of civil society only when the current restrictions on its representative elections are removed, by ensuring the freedom of activity for political parties and the non-interference of the executive branch and the Guardian Council during the elections.
Conclusion Clearly, despite the efforts of the Islamic Republic regime, the potential and actual institutions of civil society should be considered a significant part of the social and political life of Iran.
