Arrogance in the Quran means self-superiority. This meaning can be defined in worship, political, economic, and scientific dimensions. The Holy Quran has described the cultural characteristics of the arrogant and their various methods for dominating the oppressed people. It has also clearly illustrated the principles and methods of fighting against arrogance through certain verses. This article aims to explain the above topics and, by presenting verses in the field of anti-arrogance, clarifies the principles and methods of fighting against the arrogant. Furthermore, the contents of this article are taken from a book with the same title written by the Islamic Research Institute and commissioned by the Quran and Etrat Foundation of the سپاه (Sepah).

(مؤمنون: 47) They said: "Shall we believe in two humans like ourselves, while their people are our slaves?" In this verse, Pharaoh and the arrogant of his people were saying that the Children of Israel were their slaves.
However, in response to this practice of the arrogant, divine prophets have always sought to remove ignorance from the oppressed and to instill a spirit of self-confidence and trust in God. وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مَسْجِداً ضِرَاراً وَكُفْراً وَتَفْرِيقاً بَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
A Great Jihad with the Life-Giving Culture of the Quran The arrogant benefit greatly from the ignorance and lack of knowledge of the deprived, and in many cases, this very unawareness causes people to submit to oppression, surrender to them, and follow the path of their desires.
7. Strengthening Unity and the Spirit of Brotherhood It was stated that one of the ways the arrogant exert dominance over the people and lead them into oppression is by creating Nahj al-Balagha, Wisdom 406.
The Prophet (PBUH), in his uprising against arrogance and the dominance of oppression and ignorance, placed great importance on the unity of the individuals of his own front.
