چکیده:

Persian language poets have many times spoken of "drinking wine in memory of someone." The repetition of this imagery expresses its mythological background. The present article has been written to explain this subject in Persian literature. The author believes that this is a remnant and a transformed version of the sacrificial rituals on the first day of Farvardin each year, which were performed as an offering and gift to the deities. The transformation of this myth expresses honoring the status of companions who are absent from sight.
