چکیده:
The Holy Quran has always played a role as the source of inspiration for Muslims in all spiritual and material realms of their lives and, consequently, has been a basis and model for many investigations in the fields of literature, art, and sciences. For instance, regarding the naming of the type of literature and discourse that establishes a connection with humans, based on certain words, names such as 'caravan literature or discourse', 'commercial literature or discourse', and 'royal literature or discourse' have been proposed. The present article, without addressing all the aforementioned topics, by citing the comprehensiveness, universality, and eternity of the Holy Quran and its revelatory teachings, rejects this classification and naming. By utilizing the characteristics that the Holy Quran attributes to itself, it proposes and recommends 'guidance literature or discourse', 'literature or discourse of glad tidings and warning', and 'literature or discourse of legality' as Quranic literatures or discourses.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Introduction Although the Glorious Quran is far more than an artistic work in the common sense of art, as a great divine creation, it possesses coordinates and characteristics that, firstly, while being eternal in every time and place, find their specific interpretation depending on the level of knowledge, awareness, and spiritual and mental capacity of humans, and secondly, can be used and cited as a model in all fields of human activity, including the arts.
Although the word "discourse" is a new term that has not been referred to in dictionaries, by accepting the definition promoted by the proponents of the aforementioned naming (caravan discourse or literature, commercial discourse or literature, and royal discourse or literature), the attempt will be to correct the naming of the literature of the Holy Quran in accordance with its essence and nature: discourse can be considered a specific type of literature that uses a set of related concepts to convey a specific system of thought.
Even with the acceptance of this definition for discourse, there is no reason to select a profession or a group of people (such as caravaneers, merchants, or monarchs) who used certain words at a specific time use as the basis for naming Quranic discourse and literature, which possesses the claim of belonging to humanity throughout history.
2 ـ In fact, by citing that during the time of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his family), commercial and caravanning occupations were prevalent and also that sultans and kings had dominance over the people, sometimes the opinion is raised that the culture resulting from these three categories, along with the occupation that ruled the society, has influenced the Quranic discourses or literature.
