In these verses, Almighty God informs about the invalid and immoral customs of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and addresses common inhuman issues, including polytheism and idolatry, mistreatment of parents, killing children, committing shameful and corrupting acts, killing innocent people, encroaching upon the property of orphans, injustice in the distribution of public wealth and facilities, trampling on the rights of others, breaking covenants, and ignoring social contracts and laws; while simultaneously providing constructive solutions and instructions in this regard to Muslims. Yes, the mission of the Prophet — peace be upon him and his family — transformed anti-human values, and all the customs of the days of Jahiliyyah (ignorance) were converted into just Islamic laws. The Holy Quran, in Surah Al-Imran, refers to this point by saying: ﴿لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللهُ عَلیَ المُؤْمِنینَ إذْ بَعَثَ فیهِمْ رَسولاً مِنْ أنْفُسِهِمْ یَتْلُوا عَلَیْهِمْ آیاتِهِ وَیُزَکّیهِمْ وَیُعَلِّمُهُم الْکِتابَ وَالْحِکْمَةَ وَإنْ کانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفی ضَلالٍ مُبینٍ﴾;[1] 'Almighty God bestowed a favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, who recites to them His verses and purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom, although they were before in manifest error. '\ The Messenger of God — peace be upon him and his family — also, by reciting the verses of the Divine Word, polished their souls and bodies and, by removing the rust of ignorance, superstitions, and self-worship, assisted them in accepting the truth and stepping onto the path of perfection. The Holy Quran, in numerous verses, has spoken of the pursuit of justice by the Noble Prophet — peace be upon him and his family — and considers it one of the objectives of his mission.
