Therefore, the author intends to address the prominent characteristics of the Imam's policy by providing a comprehensive interpretation regarding the gradual nature of the formation of the Imam's (RA) leadership and to mention the effective factors in Imam Khomeini's (RA) attaining leadership. In this writing, he is in search of proving and confirming the characteristics of Imam Khomeini's (RA) method and his influence in bringing about the revolution, and within this framework, he also mentions different partisan currents that are visible simultaneously with the Imam's activities in the field of social struggles; currents that were, in a sense, considered rivals to the clergy movement. The writer, with a brief explanation of these groups, pursues the goal of expressing the strategic and leadership characteristics of the Imam (RA) in contrast to the various performances of these parties. At the end, by enumerating the most important characteristics of Imam Khomeini's (RA) leadership, this article concludes that the Imam's method, due to reasons such as: the truthfulness and rationality of his positions, the Imam's political honesty and sincerity, his decisiveness and steadfastness in political behavior, as well as many other such measures, has brought about a successful and effective policy. Finally, it is necessary to mention that the Imam's spiritual characteristics and his reliance on divine graces have been considered among the most effective aspects of the Imam's (RA) leadership.
خلاصه ماشینی:
The Gradual Nature of the Formation Process of the Imam's (RA) Leadership: From the beginning of the clergy movement in the year 40 until January 9, 1978 (19 Dey 1356) — the starting point of the emergence and manifestation of the mighty storm of the Islamic Revolution — the extensive network of revolutionary clergy and followers of the Imam, through extensive and often spontaneous efforts, was able to convey the logic and combative motivation of Imam Khomeini (RA) to various segments of the faithful and religious people, and create a revolutionary attitude and action against the corrupt and dependent Pahlavi dictatorial regime in society.
Regardless of the religious interests and beliefs of the people, which created a vast mass base for the influence and impact of the Imam's (RA) words, and also the contexts and factors of deep and widespread dissatisfaction in society — which provided a suitable background for a revolutionary movement — the question arises: what characteristics and features existed in the Imam's (RA) combative discourse that, in the arena of competition between political currents, paved the way for the formation of his undisputed leadership in the revolution?
An examination of these features shows that the Imam's (RA) leadership was formed within a completely logical and rational framework; in conditions where prominent, experienced, and well-known currents and figures were presenting themselves to compete with the Islamic struggle movement and the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), the masses and the elites of society turned away from them and gradually placed the competitors in the position of the Imam's discourse and leadership!
