چکیده:
One of the types of interpretation of the Holy Qur'an is 'scientific interpretation,' which has had seekers among both ancient and modern commentators. Among the later scholars who believe in this method is Imam Mohammad Ghazali, and among contemporary commentators, Tantawi can be mentioned. They believe that the entirety of sciences, including truths, phenomena, and beings, are mentioned in the Qur'an in both summary and detail. The explanation of each of these will clarify an aspect of the infinite miraculous nature of the Qur'an, and thus the problem of conflict between 'science' and 'religion' will be eliminated. In opposition to this theory, opponents of scientific interpretation believe that the real concern and mission of the Holy Qur'an is the guidance of humans, and using scientific theories to better understand the verses of the Holy Qur'an is permissible only to the extent that we do not impose scientific theories upon the Qur'an. In fact, if we take the Qur'an as the axis and with attention to the noble verse 'an explanation for all things' and other similar verses, it cannot be said that all social, political, economic, scientific, etc., topics are included in the Qur'an in detail. Rather, the Qur'an is an explainer of everything that is worthy of being explained by the Qur'an.

Followers of this method of interpreting the Holy Quran believe that Almighty God, by referring to the wonders and secrets of the creation of the heavens, the earth, the stars, the marvelous forces existing within them, and the amazing mysteries of human creation, has considered the realization of true guidance to be in the accurate perspective and recognition of these verses, the secrets of creation, and its phenomena.
