چکیده:
The translation of a lyric poem requires deeper knowledge in theoretical fields. In this approach, the author aims to focus on the reader's reaction to the realities of the external world. If this formalist analysis is performed correctly, the reader becomes alert and consequently becomes aware of the structure within literary texts. This article consists of four sections. The first part is the introduction, which relies on the formalist analytical method. The second section includes a review of formalist theoretical principles and presents two translation examples of William Shakespeare's Sonnet 73, which contain inadequacies. The third part shows the encounter between theoretical approach and practical analysis, which leads to resolving the inadequacies and providing a healthy translation of Sonnet 73 in the fourth section.

Certainly, by performing this important task, any critic or translator will not tend toward marginalization and will not allow it to interfere with the emergence of the main concepts of literary texts.
As soon as the reader relies on the element of the main theme, the possibility of discussing form and content arises; words create lines, and lines form stanzas (stanzas).
This pattern is a suitable form for stating a problem, situation, or event in the eight lines and proposing a solution in the six lines, but as mentioned, the English sonnet is usually divided into three quatrains and a final couplet.
» 3 This translation also has fundamental flaws because it does not convey the concept as it should; thus, the old poet is not compared to a leafless tree, and this same negligence is observed in the second and third quatrains.
The presentation of the above examples reveals the truth that literary texts are not always translatable unless the translator can isolate the form, maintain the totality, and consequently extract the concept.
3-Analysis of Ghazal-like Poem 73 According to what was stated in the second part, the three quatrains can be placed against the final couplet.
