Science, in fact, is different from other types of human perception; because its primary force for influencing political and social development is more impartial or neutral in terms of content compared to other types of human thought; that is, it is a "way of thinking" and not a collection of subjects and data.
It is clear that in this article, "knowledge" refers to empirical sciences, and "democracy" refers to those common methods by which a group gains the legitimacy to govern them by obtaining the votes of the majority of the people.
Among the various discussions included in this article, two main reasons are mentioned regarding the positive impact of science on the growth and development of democracy: one is the presence of critical thinking in scientific methods, which leads to the enhancement of the level of discernment and evaluation among members of society, and the other is the acceptance of pluralism and the diversity of opinions and perspectives, and the effort to find common ground.
2. Attention to the multi-methodic idea is not only effective in the dynamism and depth of human cognition but also paves the way in the category of democracy and the legitimacy of political systems.
