خلاصه ماشینی:
The statistical community includes a background of articles and books in the field of Shahnameh studies written since the beginning of the century, as well as scientific-research articles that, from the 1990s onwards, with an archetypal criticism approach, have [analyzed] texts related to the epic genre have explored.
This is both due to the nature and special capability of literary texts to align with this approach and, with a passing glance at the number of works published using this approach, it seems that the thirst for recognizing collective archetypes in texts of Persian literature has turned into a cultural issue; as according to the studies conducted, the Jungian approach has been used in articles related to psychology more than other approaches, and about 80 percent of the volume of articles in the field of psychoanalytic criticism is dedicated to this approach (see Mahdavi and Gholamhosseinzadeh, 1392: 80).
The articles evaluated in this research include studies written in the epic genre with an archetypal criticism approach, from the beginning of the introduction of Jungian perspectives in Iran, i.
The prominent presence of Houra Yavari in the article writing of this decade has placed her among the first individuals who correctly introduce mythological and archetypal criticism by applying it to ancient Persian texts and narratives.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Houra Yavari, Jalal Sattari, Abolghasem Esmailpour, Cyrus Shamisa, Mohammad Mokhtari, and Shahrokh Maskoub introduced archetypal criticism approaches into epic literature; however, Mokhtari and Maskoub are authors of various books, and no work by them was found in the collection of articles under review.
