چکیده:
Psychology can, in the role of an intermediary science, connect the human sciences. The objectives of this article are: 1- Investigating the history of interdisciplinary interests in psychology; 2- Investigating the common fields of psychology and other human sciences; 3- Psychological explanations for the failure of interdisciplinary studies in the human sciences of Iran; 4- Psychological mechanisms for the effectiveness of establishing interdisciplinary institutions in the development of higher education; and 5- Ways to promote cooperation among psychologists in interdisciplinary studies in Iran. Interdisciplinary studies require the establishment and development of interdisciplinary institutions, the outcome of which will be theoretical integration and the development of comprehensive and holistic solutions for the biological, psychological, social, and ethical needs of humans. Destructive processes related to group dynamics, self-serving bias, and the lack of interdisciplinary institutions as social scaffolds for the transformation of human sciences are among the reasons for the failure of interdisciplinary collaborations in Iran. The development of interdisciplinary institutions, in which psychology also plays a role, requires changing curricula, expanding branches of psychology, and adopting discursive approaches in psychology.

In most of these journals, whose editors are researchers in the field of psychology, the importance of interdisciplinary research has been mentioned in the description of the journal's mission and objectives, and one of the objectives of the eighth period of the journal's development has been stated as expanding the applications of psychology in various fields of knowledge; for example, in issue number 4, Autumn 1395, in the introduction of the journal "Journal of Mind and Society", the journal's mission has been stated as follows: "This journal is established with the aim of investigating the relationships between psychological and socio-economic phenomena, and its primary goal and epistemological perspective is to investigate socio-economic phenomena based on individual action and decision-making and reasoning processes.

The programs pursued in this institute include: conducting interdisciplinary research, supporting victims of violence, formulating laws for the protection of victims of violence, investigating the psychological characteristics of perpetrators of physical and sexual violence and victims, holding postdoctoral courses, and training specialists to reduce violence in families and in society (Schewe, Bell, Bennett, Goldstein and Gordon 1, 2011, 10).
Just as education can promote a child's cognitive development by considering the approximate domain of growth, society can also help the intellectual and mental transformation of specialists in each field of human sciences and assist them in achieving common goals by creating structured and effective interactions through the establishment of interdisciplinary institutions.
