خلاصه ماشینی:
To this end, the trend of demographic changes in the family, with an emphasis on divorce, fertility, and marriage indicators, has been examined using a trend analysis approach between the years 1956 and 2014; this study was conducted based on data from the Statistical Center of Iran and a collection of reliable national reports at both national and provincial levels, and during the process, the relationship between the demographic indicators of family individualization and a set of social development indicators was also statistically compared.
Historically, the aforementioned changes, in both their primary and secondary forms, correspond to the emergence of new periods in the history of human social transformations; the first change corresponds to the emergence of modern society, especially with an emphasis on the industrial economy, and the second change corresponds to late modernity or even postmodernism (Giddens, 1389(a): 91; Hare – Mustin, 1998: 36-41); on this basis, it can be argued that the family, as one of the most important social institutions, can be a full mirror of social transformations at the macro level of society, a task that Durkheim performed in the division of social labor and to explain the transition from mechanical solidarity to organic solidarity (Durkheim, 1392); accordingly, one can refer to the thoughts of Giddens (1384), Beck (2002), Bauman (2003), and Castells -Cohabitation (1386) in the second half of the twentieth century and to explain the transformations known as late modernity or the emergence of the information age.
