چکیده:
Al-Masail al-Jarudiyya is one of the priceless treasures of the theological heritage of Sheikh Mufid (336–413 AH) and an example of the theological arguments of the Imamiye against the Zaydiyya. Sheikh, who wrote this treatise in response to some of the Jarudiyya's doubts regarding the Imamat of the Twelver Shiites, maintains the etiquette of debate while rising, falling, and weaving through arguments with his Jarudi interlocutors, striving to examine all aspects of the subject and respond to all potential objections. In this respect, and given the conversational style of the text, it can be considered—with some leniency—a type of written debate. The essence of the research between Sheikh Mufid and the Jarudiyya in this treatise concerns why the Imamis, after Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), consider Imamat to occur only at the time of his birth, unlike the Jarudiyya, who do not recognize the flow of Imamat in both the Hasani and Husayni branches. By virtue of this discussion, important and grand topics such as the attributes of the Imam and the conditions of Imamat, the nature and significance of the texts (nusus) of Imamat and their indications, and the evaluation of the record of the Hasani claimants to Imamat have found space in Al-Masail al-Jarudiyya. Additionally, secondary research such as the nature of the indication of the Hadith al-Thaqalayn and arguing based on it, etc., are mentioned within the aforementioned discussions. The present discourse aims to provide a summary and analytical survey of Al-Masail al-Jarudiyya.
خلاصه ماشینی:
One of the very important points that Sheikh Mufid raises in al-Masail al-Jarudiyya is to note that the Nass of the Imamate of each of the leaders was not necessarily widespread and well-known to the entire Shiite community during the time of the previous Imam; rather, perhaps only certain reliable individuals and specific people were aware of some of the texts.
Likewise, the matter of Mahdi and the Qa'im of the Family of Muhammad (ص) was generally determined among the people of Islam, that the promised Qa'im is from the descendants of Amir al-Mu'minin and the progeny of Fatima, and he will become the master of the east and west of the world, fill the earth with justice and equity, and remove oppression and tyranny; however, they did not know the specifics of the person and the time, as it was among the secrets of the Ahl al-Bayt, and regarding each of the pure Imams or Alawis who rose by the sword [/ engaged in armed uprising], they suspected that he might be the Qa'im and Mahdi, and repeatedly after Ali ibn al-Husayn (ع), they would ask the Imams this question: Are you the Qa'im?...
