The aforementioned fund, which is the result of the voluntary efforts of the United Nations journalists group, provides scholarships to young journalists from third-world countries so they can prepare news and reports from the annual General Assembly sessions and send them to their countries.
Dear students, respected professors, before I speak about the subject of my speech, I would like to briefly tell you about the "United Nations Information Center" and what we do there.
During this meeting, His Eminence, while stating the goals and motivations for establishing Mofid Quds-sara University, emphasized the necessity for academics and seminary students to pay attention to the problems of Islamic societies and to find solutions consistent with the Holy Sharia, and then answered the questions of those present.
